Three dozen clouds dropped
narrow, bland, stars.
Her spirit,
that already crushed vessel,
hid small truths.
No one else whipped
dry grass from lust.
No one else
No one else a fit.
No one else knew more,
knew her,
a pasture of needy solitude.
