Three dozen clouds dropped
narrow, bland, stars.
Her spirit,
that already crushed vessel,
hid small truths.
 
No one else whipped
dry grass from lust.
No one else
groping.
No one else a fit.
No one else knew more,
knew her,
a pasture of needy solitude.
